
TEACHER BIOS


Eric John Campros enjoys a varied career as a dancer, choreographer, and educator. He debuted on Broadway in the smash hit musical “Grease” and followed with the national tours of Hello, Dolly with the legendary Carol Channing and A Chorus Line. He danced on tour with the Backstreet Boys and Aaliyah, and has appeared in performances with Britney Spears, Usher, and Lil’ Kim. Eric danced in several films, most notably Across the Universe and the Bollywood hit Jaaneman, as well as various commercials and videos. Choreography credits include the US tour of Real Soul, German tour of M*Pire, NYC debut of the Voice’s Sal Valentinnetti, CCTV’s New Year Spectacular, video games for Studio Chibli, and commercial industrials for Levi’s, Wrangler, and Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Eric choreographed “Ding Dong” the ad campaign for Drizly, currently airing internationally. As an educator he created a 2 year dance based curriculum for Hebei Art College and Shandong University in China, and is a guest teaching artist at Yale University, Sacred Heart University, Boris Eifman Academy and Dance Academy Russia in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Mahalia in Egypt, Studio Harmonic, Arts Des Vivants, Neo Dance, and Atelier Danse Frédérique Valla in France, Jennifer Jellison TT in London, Living Art in Argentina and Uruguay, Broadway House and Capital Dance in Spain, and several others. He was a panelist and choreographer for the hit Indian reality show Roots of Dancing with Prince Gupta Jr, and appeared as a guest artist for the Israeli documentary Dance Festival Mami, 2021. He is currently working on the International hit crime dramas Law and Order, Organized Crime, as well as Law and Order, SVU as movement coordinator, and remains on faculty at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Geheny Rivera has over a decade of experience teaching various styles of dance at the recreational and competitive level. A New Jersey native, she graduated from Montclair State University, where she received her B.A. in Psychology with a specialization in Child Advocacy. Upon graduating, she completed the Broadway Dance Center Training Program and has been with the Children and Teen Program since 2013. Geheny has trained with choreographers such as Luam Keflezgy, Jessica Castro, and Rhapsody James, and completed a mentorship with Dana Foglia Dance Company in Los Angeles. Geheny teaches hip-hop at the recreational and competitive level. In class, she encourages her students to be versatile movers. There is an emphasis on understanding foundation, grooves, and musicality. She pushes her students to the best of their ability and guides them in using these elements to help develop their own personal style. Kathy VanDereedt is a performing artist, choreographer and dance educator based out of NYC. Her versatility has enabled her a long and varied career that spans 20 years across multiple disciplines. In 2024, she performed in her fourth production at The Kennedy Center, dancing the work of co-choreographers Jessica Lang and Kanji Segawa in The Washington National Opera’s Turandot, with the World Premiere of their newly-commissioned ending. Other career highlights include: Romeo & Juliet (chor. Jonathan Goddard), La Traviata (chor. Parker Esse), Carmen (chor. Anna Maria Bruzzese), the Emmy Award-winning show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (chor. Marguerite Derricks), the International Tour of Disney’s The Beauty and the Beast (chor. Matt West), and various regional productions including White Christmas, Crazy For You, The Producers, and more. She has also danced for companies Bryn Cohn & Artists (Bryn Cohn) and BODYART (Leslie Scott), and performed the works of Purdie Baumann, Calen J. Kurka, and Chris Hale, to name a few. As an in-demand educator, Kathy is known for encouraging body awareness and anatomical knowledge in the classroom, where she strives to inspire dancers of all ages to be curious about and take care of their instrument. She has taught and choreographed across North America, including Guest Faculty at Broadway Dance Center, and has served on faculty with the Musical Theatre Department of New York Film Academy, the former NYC-based Pre-Professional Contemporary Training Program under Pushing Progress, and many top dance studios in the northeast. In 2024, Kathy began traveling with Artists Unite Collective, where she will be leading classes on Technical Foundations and how it relates to movement. Her choreography has been seen across the US and Canada, and most recently Kathy’s work was selected to be showcased at the National High School Dance Festival, which features prominent performing arts programs from across the country. Rashaan James II is a versatile performer, educator, and advocate with an extensive career in the arts. He went to the University at Buffalo for a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Dance. Rashaan's performance credits include Crazy for You at Lincoln Center (Junior) directed by the legendary Susan Stroman, Dreamgirls alongside Jennifer Holliday (Tru-Tone/5 Tuxes), the Dirty Dancing U.S. Tour (Ensemble), the West Side Story International Tour, the South Pacific 1st National Tour (Swing), and the 42nd Street National Tour. As a dance educator, Rashaan has shared his expertise in tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theatre at prestigious studios and universities across the globe, including New York City, Osaka, Vancouver, Paris, London, and Toronto. He is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway, Deviate Dance, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), shaping the next generation of performers. Rashaan is also a proud member of Actors' Equity Association, where he serves as the Eastern Regional Vice President, advocating for the rights and welfare of his fellow stage managers and actors.
